Playwriting / stage
We completely SOLD OUT our entire run of MADDIE!!
A play about displacement, homelessness, female autism & masking. By an autistic / dyspraxic creative team (including me). On our opening night, London Theatre 1 gave us a glowing **** review and said that we are "the kind of story not often seen on stage". If you would like to purchase a copy of the playtext/programme, please contact me directly. |
Sympathy for the Devil - Shoreditch Town Hall - Sunday 26th January 2020, 7.30pm
For a whole weekend, I and a gang of 27 others took over the 200-seat Quarterhouse Theatre along the beautiful British coastline - right by the White Cliffs of Dover - for the fantastic Folkestone48 Festival. I created two new 15-minute plays from scratch, debuting them to a packed audience every night!
Maddie one of 30 pieces chosen from 2,092 entries!! Quite the compliment! It's now been developed into a full show with Stepping Out Theatre in Bristol, the country's leading mental health theatre group (patroned by Mark Rylance), with plans for a 2020 production!
